She travels around the US and overseas to keep up with all of her family. Lesley and her husband visit the NZ contingent every couple of years, and her children enjoy very fond memories of Aotearoa. She attends many key events and organized the Christchurch Relief Effort on Treasure Island that raised over $21,000 for Christchurch. She also arranged the Mayoral Reception for SF Mayor Lee, the visiting Christchurch City Council delegation and the entire Kiwi community this year at Zoomsystems. She is actively involved with the San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Club which hosts a variety of events including a NZ Art & Wine Show, Rugby World Cup screenings, an authentic annual Hangi, Atamira Maori Dance Troupe and many other Kiwi related engagements. This past summer Lesley engaged many of the "Kiwis on the ground" leading them to tours of the America's Cup boats, to venture out on the water in a variety of charters, to become actively involved in reinforcing and expanding the NZ presence in San Francisco and in supporting all of the Kiwis on all of the racing teams - she was an excellent ambassador for the Kiwi Presence throughout the America's Cup and for promoting NZ businesses, beers, foods, and all things Kiwi.
She is very proud and honored to serve as the President of NZAASF.

Andrew has lived in San Francisco for over 25 years, so he considers himself a "pseudo native", i.e. he doesn't get lost as often when he drives around the city. Originally from Takapuna, Auckland, he left in 1986 and moved to London to seek fame and fortune with his band. He got involved with the music industry, working for Rough Trade Distribution who, consequently, after 5 years in London, transferred him to SF to run the operations for the US division. Andrew still plays music (in 2 bands at present!!), he also has a massive music collection that he uses when DJing occasionally around the Bay Area and on his frequent visits back home to Auckland. He has previously worked in IT for a start-up in Silicon Valley called Cumulus Networks, and more recently doing contract IT work for Apple Computers.
Andrew also contributes with website editing and as community manager.

Jim has spent over 25 years working in the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He served as an executive with IBM, living in 4 countries and all over the US. Jim was also a Senior VP & Asia Pacific Director for Moody's Investors Service for 7 years, working out of San Francisco and Singapore. Wedged in between these careers Jim was a serial entrepreneur creating three different bank consulting and service companies in Jakarta, Indonesia. Jim's first start up was acquired by IBM and the second by Indonesian Investors. He has also worked with relocating Australian companies on their initial entry into the US markets and with opening up trade relations between NZ and Indonesia. Jim's degrees are in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin and he grew up visiting and spending extended time on his family's farm in Wisconsin. Currently Jim is involved "behind the scenes" in the majority of NZAASF events, running auctions, raffles, and taking care of the printing needs for the group, and helping in a myriad of ways. Jim and Lesley have been blessed with seven children, the youngest of whom are at three different Universities in the States, keeping both parents on the go! Jim loves working on his carpentry projects, hiking, and spending time at their floating bach on the delta. He is working on his 4th book, the latest being an historical fiction related to his family's history.
