Waitangi Day Celebration
and Fundraiser

The SF Kiwis board of volunteers are thrilled to have you join us for a Waitangi Day celebration on the actual chronological date (it'll be Feb 6 back home) of the signing of the treaty, that started our beautiful country's birth as a shared nation between Māori and the European settlers.
Come and join us between 6:30PM and 9:30PM, to commemorate Waitangi Day 2026, with other Kiwis, and have the chance to chat and mingle the night away, win some cool prizes in our raffle, have a full plate of food or just graze all night on the large array of finger foods, enjoy the surroundings of the boat club on the waterside, and most importantly, help out SF Kiwis for their running costs in 2026.
Tickets to this event will sell out fast, so don't dilly-dally!
We've got a great Guest Speaker, plus we expect our NZ Consulate SF representative, Anthony Mosse M.B.E. will deliver a short message on the Govt. side of things, some Māoritanga, including the famous men's Haka, and then there's our usual phenomenal spread of kai, with kiwi desserts of course, to keep you sated throughout the evening.

The bar is a no-host bar (pay-as-you-go), and is cash only too, so bring some readies to save the surcharge from the ATM at the boat club, and come on down to one of the best views of the bay.
Commemorate an important date in New Zealand's history, help out SF Kiwis running costs as a non-profit, and have a good natter with other Bay Area Kiwis, who you may not have seen for a couple of years!

As in prior years, portions of the Waitangi Day Dinner event may be video recorded and will be photographed by the New Zealand American Association of SF for use by our speakers, entertainers, and our Association. By your presence at the event, you acknowledge that you have been alerted and accept that filming is taking place and that the use of any film will not be compensated to those individuals that might appear on film.
